Frequently asked questions

Can I use a canister from an unsupported brand?
Yes. Enter the gas capacity and empty canister weight manually to calculate it.
Where can I find my stove’s fuel consumption?
Check your stove’s manual or the manufacturer website for a fuel-consumption figure in g/h.
Is my measurement data sent anywhere?
No. Entered weights, labels, and measurement history are stored on your device and are not transmitted.

Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Resoto Apps (“we”) handles user information in Canister Gauge (“the app”).

1. Information stored

To calculate remaining fuel and show history, the app stores weights, canister labels, settings, and calculation results entered by the user on the device.

2. Purpose

Entered information is used only for calculations and for saving and displaying measurement history within the app.

3. Transmission and third parties

Entered information and measurement history are not transmitted to us or to third parties. The app may connect to update manufacturer tare-weight data, but information entered by the user is not sent.

4. Deletion

Information stored on the device is deleted when the app is removed.
